Heroes, Plymouth

Well another year has shot by in a flash and we are into November. November is a strange month as enquiries are always strong and orders normally follow with the main criteria being ‘can it be done before Christmas’. With that in mind the answer is always yes!

We want to take this opportunity to blog about something other than business, something that is dear to the hearts of many of the staff within Universal Fire And Security, Rememberance Day. We have always employed a number of former service personnel plus the Directors of the Company have strong links with the armed forces through family members.

We would like to add our support to the people that protect our country and have protected our country in the past. It is easy to underestimate the sacrifice that they go through and the stress and strain put on their families as we do not experience the destruction of conflict on our shores. We will be wearing our poppies with pride, a symbol of support for people, not a symbol of war or an insult to any other race or religion.

We would urge others to do the same as one of the main reasons we are able to do what we want to and say what we want to and pursue our dreams is down to the effort and hard work our armed forces and the professionalism and dedication they give to their chosen profession.
